A little further down the valley is La Baume village which is 20 minutes drive to Morzine. The village has a very rural feel and is the least developed of all the villages. It has a pretty church that sits on the hillside and great views. Property prices here drop down again so if you don’t mind a small drive there are some very reasonable prices properties and in particular old farmhouses.
